Santi Mirón and Carles Vallès offer us the chance to get to grips with a repertoire as attractive as it is little performed and deriving from a period of change – the transition from Baroque to Classicism - led by an unusual instrument, the viola da gamba. Mirón has specialised in this instrument for 15 years and is cofounder of the groups Anima e Corpo Ensemble and Lux Perpetua. Meanwhile, Carles Vallès trained on the recorder and bassoon, instruments on which he focuses his professional activity in various groups and orchestras.
