Description

One of the great trombonists on our jazz scene, Josep Tutusaus – “Tutu” to his friends – is the guest of honour at this session in the “Andrea Motis and Joan Chamorro & Friends” cycle, which is being held every Sunday at the Jamboree from 8 January onwards. Known for forming part of the underground Barcelona jazz scene, Tutusaus is also outstanding for his work in groups like the Barcelona Jazz Orquestra, where he is a colleague of Joan Chamorro. Tutusaus boasts a very great knowledge of the classical jazz repertoire and a good mastery of languages like bop and hard bop. The repertoire will therefore consist of great standards of the golden age of jazz, both sung and played instrumentally.
