Description

While the first day of the “Andrea Motis and Joan Chamorro & Friends” cycle was graced by the presence of the pianist Ignasi Terraza, the second had Josep Traver, Esteve Pi and Víctor de Diego and the third Josep Tutusaus, this time it is the turn of a group of colleagues from the Sant Andreu Jazz Band – the orchestra recently rewarded with the Arc Award and the big band conducted by Joan Chamorro, where Andrea Motis learned her trade. Chamorro, Motis and their colleagues from the Barcelona district of Sant Andreu form a lively Young Band which will fill the Jamboree with swing with a repertoire of essential pieces from the history of jazz and the beginning of bebop.
