Description

Emulating the great American bands of the ‘50s and ‘60s, the Swing Tenors, a name with operatic echoes but nothing to do with lyrical singing, is a quintet offering a repertoire of swing, blues and jazz classics. It is a band consisting of musicians like the saxophonists Toni Solà and Tomás González, two top-class swingers, and the historic pianist Pere Ferré. In 2003 they released a CD, The Jumpin’ Five (Swing Alley, 2003), in which they presented a fresh, rhythmic, seductive repertoire which they will perform at the Jamboree without concessions.
