Mas i Mas sets up a new artist management and booking department

 

The company is going into business with Queca Hosta Produccions and is bringing together a long list of musicians from the fields of jazz, flamenco and world music

Barcelona, 3 September 2010 –   Mas i Mas is beginning a new project in order to continue growing in the musical field. The desire to continue promoting live music has led the company to join forces with Queca Hosta Produccions, a Barcelona firm established in the area of artist management and representation. This establishes QUECA HOSTA - MAS i MAS PRODUCCIONS, making the most of the experience of both parties in different fields. The idea is for it to become a solid platform promoting this country’s musicians.

In this way, the new organisation will be exclusively responsible for the management and booking of performers like Lucrecia, Carles Benavent, José Luís Montón & Olvido Lanza and Fèlix Rossy, as well as bookings for artists like Marcelo Mercadante, Laura Simó Trio Benavent-Di Geraldo-Pardo and the representation in Catalonia of Martirio, Aynur and Maria de Medeiros, in cooperation with other agencies. All these names are outstanding ones on the jazz, flamenco and world music lists which the company will try to gradually extend.
