Music concert GERARD NIETO ORGAN–IZING in Barcelona

The icing on the cake of the Hammond 5J cycle is provided by one of the most reliable, experienced keyboard players in the country, Gerard Nieto from El Maresme. We’re used to seeing him as a sideman or as leader sitting at the acoustic piano and now we have the chance to see how he lets off steam with a B3 at his fingertips. He will do so surrounded by a quartet of his usual accomplices and with a repertoire presented as a tribute to the classic sound of the organ with sax, with references like Jimmy Smith and Stanley Turrentine or Jack McDuff and Gene Ammons. A journey from shuffle to bebop with a constant background of blues and gospel is guaranteed, full of energy and groove.
