The whole tango universe lives inside Marcelo Mercadante’s concertina. It is a universe that also covers folklore, jazz, flamenco and all those traditional and contemporary sounds, with which masters like Astor Piazzolla and Dino Saluzzi have created a school. Mercadante is one of their leading followers and, in the first Jazz Lab of the month, he confirms this, presenting the tracks from his new album, Justamente. It is a record that represents a step forward in his creative development, helping him confirm the absolute universality of the sound of the tango.
