Music concert NUM NUM TRIO in Barcelona

The name Num Num brings together three recognised jazzmen from the Barcelona scene with the aim of recovering the spirit of the great soul jazz trios of the ‘60s. They take the groups of Ramsey Lewis and Les McCann and create rhythmic, vibrant music. They are the pianist Xavi Algans, known for taking part in projects like the Afro Blue combo; the double bass player Jules Bikoko, a top session player who has placed his strings at the service of the group Macaco and the pianist Ignasi Terraza, and the no less excellent Caspar St Charles, with long experience of all kinds of adventures, from the Blues Messengers to the DeDiego Brothers. In other words, a top-class triangle.
