Dani Nel·lo, Ivan Kovacevic & Pere Foved in Barcelona

He’s a rebellious, indomitable musician; an intrepid adventurer who, for more than twenty years, has been ceaselessly pouring his breath into the mouthpiece of a sax. Dani Nel·lo has swum in the waters of rock, the whirlpools of rhythm ‘n’ blues and the currents of mardi gras and he has explored the most diverse tributaries of jazz. From them, he has chosen the noire style to deploy his passionate empathy towards a genre and sound that transmit seduction and mystery. The imaginary worlds conjured by words of Raymond Chandler or the films of Orson Welles are full of chords breaking the silence and sudden noises going straight to the heart. This is the first time, though, that Dani Nel·lo has presented his repertoire and particular re-reading of some of the classics of the genre in a trio line-up. He is accompanied by two of the usual suspects from the very top drawer – the Serbian double bass player Ivan Kovacekic and the drummer Pere Foved. A luxury line-up to guarantee excitement and suspense during every second of the show.
