Description

The soprano and actress Uma Ysamat and the pianist Emili Brugalla, directed by Josep Maria Miró and with the collaboration of a small stage team, present their own, personal reading of the well-known opera by Francis Poulenc based on a text by Jean Cocteau. With some licence, but with the greatest respect for the work of the French artists, they tell the story of a desperate woman who makes a last call to the lover who has abandoned her. In this way the work shows that, through the voice, closely linked to the personality of each individual, we can recognise a person as well as their mood, ranging from joy to sadness or pain.
