WTF JAM SESSION in Barcelona

It is already a Monday night classic and almost a Barcelona classic too: a different kind of jam session when the seats are taken away and all-time jazz greats from all corners of the world come together on stage with groovers and hip-hoppers of all kinds; a session led by the activist and vocal percussionist Aurelio Santos which has been the starting point for some of the most innovative projects in Barcelona jazz, in which all beats of Afro-American music coexist in harmony, from jazz to hip-hop, including reggae, soul, funk or Latin; from the most classic standards to the most amazing releases of adrenalin. A festival which has just completed 9 years of life, and through which leading figures of the calibre of Avishai Cohen, Bill McHenry, Llibert Fortuny, Horacio Fumero, Albert Bover, Gorka Benítez and others have passed, as well as thousands and thousands of fans.
